Triveni Acharya, a journalist and activist is known for her anti-sex-trafficking work. As a warrior & saviour her selfless efforts to combat this heinous crime have brought relief and smiles on the faces of the survivors. She has led hundreds of rescue operations and transformed countless lives.
 
Triveni Acharya - the dare devil, today has gone full stream with four rescue homes across India and has extended its reach to rescue girls who are trafficked from countries like Nepal, Bangladesh & Thailand.  The Foundation has rescued over 7,000 women and girls, provided shelter and care to more than 11,000 survivors. 
 
The rescued are provided psycho-social counselling, medical & legal aid, survivor empowerment opportunities & family repatriation services through a holistic approach. It empowers survivors to become peer mentors and trainers, thus creating a cycle of hope, motivation and leadership. 
 
In the true Gandhian spirit, Triveni Acharya’s life offers an inspiring example of her compassionate work to rescue and rehabilitate women who are unwillingly forced into slavery and prostitution.
